EcoLabOutsidetownhall Eco-Lab Eco Lab - Worms at Eaves Primary

The Eco Lab Project is provided by the Environmental Protection Department within St.Helens Council and supported through the local Education Authority and Ibstock Environmental Trust, to promote education for sustainable development across the borough of St.Helens.

Grace Tatlock, the Education Link Officer (ELO) presents and provides the lesson plans relating to waste/recycling, energy efficiency/climate change, renewable energy and transport.

Lesson plans are available for Nursery level through to Year 6 primary. Although the ELO does not provide teaching sessions for high schools there is still help and guidance upon request.

The Eco Lab vehicle can be booked for a maximum of 4 days and the programme of events can be tailored to suite individual schools. After the visit, schools can take up the offer of FREE Education Packs together with a list of useful contacts and resources.
